The meeting of board of directors was done and three regulations and one plan were confirmed.
During this meeting, the generalities of canoe slalom league regulations, regulations of canoeing associations’ ranking, the ranking of coaches, and also talent identification and retaining talented athletes were approved.
Following providing the audience with the report of programs’ processing of the federation, the president of the Iranian canoeing, rowing, and sailing federation (ICRSF) mentioned that we do our best to hold preparatory camps to get suitable conditioning for participating in the upcoming Olympic qualifications. Moreover, we tried to support canoeing organizations during this period.
Sohrabian reported, following several visits, we tried to hold general meetings and elections of the canoeing associations. Although the hard situation caused by COVID-19 imposed some difficulties, we did our best to handle the programs and attract the attention of authorities and policymakers in different states to support us and our programs.
He continued, with all-dimensional efforts of canoeing, rowing, and sailing family, especially the canoeing associations in the states we will meet good developmental rate in our family. Despite the COVID-induced hard situation, we did our best in all aspects of championships, education, infrastructural developments and we hope we could get our targets with the collaboration of all members of the canoeing family.
